Become a Member

A youth interested in participating in a SCYSF event must become part of a SCYSF recognized organizagion. A youth may participate on a school, gun club, church , SCISA, 4-H or Boy Scouts team in their area. In addition youth must:

• Must be an young woman/man in 4th-12th grade
• Pay annual SCYSF registration fee of $25 prior to participating in a SCYSF event.
• Must be in good standing with your SCYSF organization.
• Pass and pay $10 for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Hunter Safety Certification Course(6th grade shooters and under are NOT required to have SCDNR Hunter Safety)
• Complete the Shooter and Medical Registration, and Consent & Waiver Form.

If you do not have a SCDNR Hunters Safety Number, you will be allowed to shoot, but will be required to pay full entry fee.

All SCISA shooters must have a SCDNR Hunters Education number or they will not be allowed to shoot.
